DEF has launched ‘Covid-19 Digital Emergency Relief Program (C-DERP)’ to leverage its strong physical presence in 600+ locations in remote areas through—Community Information Resource Centres (CIRCs)—in 130 districts across 25 states and 10000+ trained foot soldiers equipped with digital skills and media literacy— to provide essential information, services and commodities at door steps of the vulnerable communities through community level digital initiatives.
Enactus Ashoka has collaborated with Enactus organisations of other colleges to raise funds for migrant labourers affected by the pandemic. This Project called Sahyog stands for support, solidarity, and humanity.

SUPPORT AFFECTED COMMUNITIES, BY SUPPORTING DIGITAL FOOT SOLDIERS

10000+ Digital Foot Soldiers (DFS) attached with Digital Empowerment Foundation, who are equipped with digital and media literacy, and smartphone as a tool of change—are working relentlessly across 25 states to provide immediate relief and help to the most affected marginalised rural communities in the face of Covid-19 crisis—NEED YOUR SUPPORT—so they can persist in their mission.
A DFS requires just Rs. 3000 a month that covers his/her basic expenses for—Internet data, local travel, disposable personal safeguards and laptop and reaches out to minimum 300 affected individuals and 60 households amongst marginalised rural communities.
Support 300,000 affected individuals and 60,000 vulnerable households by being one of the supporters of 10,000 DFS for 3 months.
