SoochnaPreneur is a programme introduced in the April 2016 by the Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) and QUALCOMM, which trains women entrepreneurs who can then set up information enterprises in rural areas to address the needs of digital and information services. This program helps women to enhance their digital skills and serve various information services need of consumers (especially in villages and community).

The curriculum was developed in 2014 in consultation with various agencies like UNESCO, NASSCOM, Intel, IGNOU, NIELIT, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS),Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), IT for Change, Open Knowledge Network India, and Digital Empowerment Foundation.
