Through our field-based and digital projects across India, we work at the intersection of technology, access, livelihoods, culture, policy, and community media.
DEF has successfully led two cohorts of the one-year-long Digital Swaraj Fellowship, where young changemakers worked at the last mile to empower communities through digital interventions. We host internships of varying durations throughout the year, depending on ongoing projects, collaborations, and thematic needs. Opportunities range across research, field documentation, community engagement, communication design and digital inclusion projects.
Note: All applications will be reviewed carefully. Selected candidates will be contacted based on availability and current project requirements. The nature of payment i.e paid/ unpaid also differ on the work and projects.
