Mansi Choudhary, a student from the Ramnagar Centre, is currently in Class 11 and a proud DIGI-LAMP Scholar. Her journey into digital literacy began in 9th Standard when she enrolled in digital literacy classes with only basic knowledge of computers. However, through these sessions, she gained a comprehensive understanding of computer applications and their practical importance in daily life.
During her training, Mansi mastered key software programs, including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Notepad. She particularly enjoys using MS Word for creating letters, formats, visiting cards, and greeting cards. Although she initially found MS Excel challenging, especially working with formulas, she can now apply them with ease. Her digital skills were further enhanced through advanced digital literacy sessions, where she was introduced to web development—learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their essential tags.
Through these training sessions, Mansi’s typing speed has significantly improved, enabling her to create documents efficiently. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude to Shivani Ma’am from the Digital Empowerment Foundation for providing her with this valuable learning opportunity, which has transformed her digital skills and opened new avenues for her future.
